How To Pick A Company Name

 To succeed in business you must constantly advertise and promote your company name. And because people search for products on services on the web, you have to be very conscious of how your company name shows up on the web.

Before you pick your company name, you should be firm on the niche market you are going to target. That niche will have a big effect on your company name choice.

There are two tools that we will use in this excercise. They are both free.

People will search the web so use words from your niche in your company name.

And people search the web globally and buy locally. So in your company name you might want to include the town.

An example of using the town is Crystal Gifts Atlanta.

Here is an excercse. Go to Spaky and search for hand cleaner. Look at all the combinations. Then go to Instant Domain Search and you will see that Hand-Cleaner.com is taken. But then throw on something like Best-Hand-Cleaner and you might find that you have a name you can register. If someone takes that one, try adding other modifiers until you find something else that will be comfortable for you.

Now that you have done it once, go to Spaky and search Crystal Gifts. Someone smart took that one a long time ago.

But then Instant Domain Search with your hometown name after crystal gifts. What a great way to get good position for a hot key word and a hot product. (Register the name, set up a free Amazon store and you are in business.)

Once you pick a name, go to your hosting company and register it.
